More Than Words

He gives strength to the weary and increases the power of the weak.

For ever since the world was created, people have seen the earth and sky. Through everything God made, they can clearly see His invisible qualities - His eternal power and divine nature.  So they have no excuse for not knowing God.

I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made; Your works are wonderful, I know that full well.

Commit everything you do to the Lord. Trust Him, and He will help you.

But to all who believed in Him and accepted Him, He gave the right to become chidren of God.

For God so loved the world that He gave His one and only Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life.

The Lord Himself will fight for you. Just stay calm.

May the Lord bless you and protect you. May the Lord smile on you and be gracious to you. May the Lord show you His favor and give you His peace.

I have told you these things, so that in Me you may have peace. In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world.

Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go.

These trials will show that your faith is genuine. It is being tested as fire tests and purifies gold-though your faith is far more precious than gold. So when you faith remains strong through many trials, it will bring you much praise and glory and honor on the day when Jesus Christ is revealed to the whole world.

Don't use foul or abusive language. Let everything you say be good and helpful, so that your words will be an encouragement to those who hear them.

Now faith is confidence in what we hope for and assurance about what we do not see.

But as for you, be strong and do not give up, for your work will be rewarded.

Forget what happened in the past, and do not dwell on events from long ago. I am going to do something new. It is already happening. Don't you recognize it? I will clear a way in the desert. I will make rivers on dry land.

He gives the childless woman a family, making her a happy mother. Praise the Lord!

I am the Vine; you are the branches. If you remain in Me and I in you, you will bear much fruit; apart from Me you can do nothing. If you do not remain in Me, you are like a branch that is thrown away and withers; such branches are picked up, thrown into the fire and burned.

Give your entire attention to what God is doing right now, and don't get worked up about what may or may not happen tomorrow.  God will help you deal with whatever hard things come up when the time comes.

For the Lord your God is living among you. He is a mighty Savior. He will take delight in you with gladness. With His love, He will calm all your fears. He will rejoice over you with joyful songs.

I can do all things [which He has called me to do] through Him who strengthens and empowers me [to fulfill His purpose--I am self-sufficient in Christ's sufficiency; I am ready for anything and equal to anything through Him who infuses me with inner strength and confident peace.]

The Lord says, "I will rescue those who love me. I will protect those who trust in my name. When they call on me, I will answer; I will be with them in trouble. I will rescue and honor them."

The temptations in your life are no different from what others experience. And God is faithful. He will not allow the temptation to be more than you can stand. When you are tempted, He will show you a way out so that you can endure.

I give them eternal life, and they will never perish. No one can snatch them away from me, for my Father has given them to me, and He is more powerful than anyone else. No one can snatch them from the Father's hand.
